Compatibility with macOS Big Sur will not yet ensure compatibility with Apple Silicon processors. At the moment, Native Instruments products are not supported on computers with Apple Silicon processors. Now I add 5,6 1280x800 LCD with vga controller and make cabinet for this LCD.Below is the link for his LCD: As I said in my last post, my MASCHINE is fully standalone, it has built in battery, laptop mainboard, HDD, and 4IN4OUT audio interface with headphone amp.
Maschine Controller Mk1 Mod Is AboutCost of this mod is about 200 (7 LCD is cheaper, but its to big I think). Micro-ATX with pico PSU should fit, right This could even run an i5 or even i7 (S version for less cooling efforts), But how can you see details on that little screen with the relatively high resolution DPI is too high for my taste. But no budget for this kind of project, so I keep dreaming on. The device manager says my device is working properly but still Maschine does not see the controller. All the items in the list of drop down controllers are greyd out. The Maschine screen displays the normal stuff about Start Machine Software. I have uninstalled everything, including the controller drivers, a few times but no luck. I contacted NI Support but all they asked me to do is repeat the stuff I told them I had already tried (uninstallreinstall). They also the Mk1 controller drivers are not on the website () and I should try installing them again but, they did not say where I should find the drivers (if they are not on their website). Sorry to ask in here but the speed of response from support is a little frustrating. Maschine Controller Mk1 Software A FewThe only thing I probably have not done is uninstall the complete Maschine library (but I have uninstall the software a few times). NI have come back to say they can do a remove connection to my PC but, only Monday to Friday during working hours; this does not really work for me as Im out at work myself. My controller did work with the first version of Maschine 2 (2.0) but lots the connection with one of the first updates (cant remember which one). You can check device manager to see if there is a problem with the drivers. If it shows a yellow next to the USB drivers for the controller there is a problem there. You can do an update driver from device manager and choose the option to install yourself. Then choose the option to pick from a list of drivers on your system. Also, if you are a Linux user that decided to make your OS drive case sensitive this will cause issues with driver installations. Maschine Controller Mk1 How To Fix IfIf this is the case there is a thread here on how to fix if you do a search. Completely uninstalled them from the Device Manager and, physically deleted the files: C:WindowsSystem32driversgbx.sys (NI Maschine drivers). NI support can remote onto my PC but only between 11 and 4pm, Mon to Friday. I have spent many 10s of hours on this and HI Support can only assist for a 5 hour window when 99 of the population are at work. Paul. I have a day off in 3 weeks from now so going to try and call NI Support. Slightly miffed that I have to take a days leave (unpaid) to get my Maschine controller to work. Hey ho.
